Parent Committee

What we do

We assist the program through fundraising activities; Ad Book campaign, B-B-Ques and Beef and Beers. We also staff the Saturday Freshman home games and Monday JV home games Snack Stand at the Bonner Turf Field and sell Ad Books and goods at home Varsity Games at the Upper Darby High School field. Most importantly for the players, the group does weekly Pasta dinners and helps out in the locker room. We also need 2 parents to tend to the welcome table at our annual Banquet in March of each year.

The Parent Group meetings are shown on our calendar. We meet in either the President Conference room or in the Student College Guidance room. Both are on the main floor. To attend one of our meetings please email or call George Latella or Joan Roman below. A solid Parent Group is essential to the team dynamic, lending assistance to the coaching staff as well as to all the players.

We encourage you to reach out to contact one of the Parent Group representatives shown below as soon as possible. Any time is a good time to help, whether we are in the active season or not. There is lots to be done to make this a top notch football program and we prepare for the upcoming season before the school year is over. We need you and all of your talents!!

Ad Book

Our biggest yearly fundraiser is our Ad Book. Forms are available here and each player is expected to sell their quota of ads. We sell these ad books at each home game. Ad Book collections are posted in our calendar. It is imperative that all ads are handed in timely. This is due to print time constraints. Late ads will miss the print deadline and cause bad feelings betwwen the program and the prospective sponsor. It is important that we have a book available at our 1st game - our annual season kick-off game against Upper Darby High School..

This activity encourages your player to develop good will between the program and the community. A good idea is to have your son show his school ID when asking for sponsorships.

Up and Coming Sophomore, Junior and Senior Players are responsible to hand in at least $300 worth of ads. This has been greatly reduced from previous years due to the economy. The timeline is crucial and the deadline is 7/28/2011 for the 2011 season. All ads must be turned into the Parent group by then. Freshman have the option of handing in ads although they must meet the 7/28/2011 deadline.

Pride Pack

We are proud to announce that the Pride Pack will soon be available via an On Line Catalogue. All purchases will go through Pay Pal. This is to ensure your purchase is done safely. See our privacy policy for additional information. All items are supplied through Sports Specialties in Clifton Heights. Most, if not all items are Under Armour and are high quality. Pride Pack items are now seperate from the Ad Book campaign. In previous years they were bundled with the campaign. However, they are now a seperate purchase and you are free to purchase as many items as you want.
